I've been scurrying around like a squirrel on crack this morning because I realized Tate's newest book ROMANCING THE DEAD is going to be out soon and I've got some publicity to be doin'. As part of that I updated my (and her) websites with information about upcoming events, and as there are a few that are mere weeks away, I though I should post them here as well:

MARCH 2008

MiniCON, March 21 -23, 2008. MiniCON 43 will be held at the Sheradon Bloomington hotel in Bloomington, MN. I'll be in attendance all weekend.

Wednesday, March 26, 2008 starting at 7:00 pm at Intermedia Arts, I'll be taking part in the Carol Connelly GLBT reading series with Elizabeth DiGrazia, hosted by Andrea Jenkins and John Medeiros. Intermedia Arts is located at 2822 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55408. For more information call: (612) 871-4444. The event is free and open to the public, although a $5.00 donation is recommended.

Public Library Association Conference, March 25-29, 2008. I'll be signing at the RWA booth on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 10:00 am. The trade show, however, is a members' only event.

APRIL 2008

Monday, April 28, 2008 starting at 6:30 pm I will be reading from her newest novel ROMANCING THE DEAD at Dreamhaven Books as part of the Speculations reading series hosted by Eric Heideman. Dreanhaven is located at: 912 West Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN 55408. For more information call 612-823-6161. There is off-street parking available behind the building and the event is free and open to the public.

Wish I could be at Minicon (where I enjoyed being on a panel with you), but it's the same weekend as the ICFA, which we always attend.

I can't wait until Wiscon. I'm introducing a writer friend to the joys of the con this year.

What about MarsCon? The preliminary programming page is up and I think one of you (Lyda or Tate) is on a bunch of panels about writing.

Are you doing CONvergence this year? [livejournal.com profile] rarelylynne and I are planning to be there. It seems that we're probably dragging a couple of Mad Norwegians with us. :)

If not, at least we will all finally meet at WisCon.

*sigh* It seems like so many of my favorite authors are in the midwest.

Well, if you're ever at Norwescon, Baycon, or somewhere doing a signing on the Pacific Coast I'd love to see you!

Do you always refer to Tate in the third person?
