I do NOT believe that there was flooding at 50th and Nicollet. Richard and I saw that and just shook our heads. That intersection is at the absolute top of a hill next to the Washburn/Ramsey school complex, sharply downhill in 3 directions. Maybe they meant 52nd, which is at the bottom of the hill. But there's a bridge there, and I don't see how you can having flooding on a bridge unless the creek underneath comes all the way up, which would be impossible at that bridge. I suppose the Parkway under the bridge might have flooded. Or they just made that up? 28th and Lyndale seems unlikely too.

There sure was a lot of rain, though! We had a lot of water in our basement, but it was gone by the next morning.
