Ignoring my Deadline, That's What!
Sep. 23rd, 2009 10:26 am23 days to go! So, what am I doing right now? Blogging, of course.
Actually, I had a good writing day yesterday and today is shaping up to be another one, so fingers crossed! I have been skipping my work out at the gym to get an early start, though I'm thinking that if I get stuff done early today, I may go in for a bit in the afternoon. If nothing else to get my legs moving a bit on the stationary bike.
Yesterday for our mischeviousness, Mason and I went to Barnes & Noble. Mason has been very anxious to get the first of the Darth Bane STAR WARS series, which takes place some many years before "Episode 1." I ended up buying him that book new, but discovered that the used copies of Star Wars tie-ins (of which there are legion) are cheap, cheap, cheap! Much giddy excitement (with dancing!) was had by Mason and I upon this discovery. It also made me realize (D'oh!) that another great place to find more of these would be HPB, for which he still has a $3.00 coupon. Tonight, we will check that out, after a quick stop at our local library because my copies of the last HIKARU NO GO have come in (hooray!)
So there is much joy in the reading department with many paranthetical phrases (yay!)
If you care, you may read my opinions of Dan Brown over at Wyrdsmiths. This is what comes from having Entertainment Weekly as bathroom reading material.
