I'm over at Bill Henry's Mid-Ohio ComicCon website yacking on about the new "Incredible Hulk" movie today. The review is called, "Days Without Incident: 0", check it out if you're so inclined.

He's also foolishly invited me back to rant about the Secret Invasion, so I'll be working on that over the next few days. I really want to come up with a way to articulate how I feel about all of this stuff. But, I didn't get much comic reading done last night, though I did finish:

1) Secret Invasion: Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel (Collecting Captain Marvel #4-5, Ms. Marvel #25) (Reed/Weeks, Melo/Frenz)
2) Ms. Marvel #27 (Reed/Coelho)

I've also just started the NEW AVENGERS collection "Trust," which, of course, I should have read a long time ago, because it's kind of weird to keep trying to remember life before the beginning of the Skrull Invasion.

In other breaking news: working out makes me tired.

My fish are all healthy, as are my cats. I discovered last night who MY loyal cats are. I was really restless for some reason last night, so rather than jerk around in the bed and wake Shawn up, I got up and moved to the couch in the TV room. Sometime this morning I felt a little gentle paw on my leg letting me know I was about to kick a cat. Who was it? Honestly, I was expecting Deliah, who was sleeping close by in the window, but no, it was Ms. Piggy, who is, apparently, my cat. I thought she just slept on my side of the bed because it was secretly HER side of the bed, you know? Anyway, that was kind of cool to discover.

Mason has been complaining of a sore throat and asking to skip school, which is very unusual for him (not the sick part necessariy, but the not wanting to go to school part.) We're kind of waiting to see what's up with the throat, because he has no fever and has been acting very un-sick. I asked him if something happened at school that made him not want to go, and he just said, he "didn't want to talk about it," which is Mason for "maybe" or sometimes even "I can't remember." I pulled Ms. R. aside this morning and asked her if anything HAD happened, and she couldn't think of anything. So, clearly it wasn't that he got in trouble (which he has at least once.) I don't know. It's a mystery. It may just be that he'd rather be home playing video games.

Speaking of the wee one, I should go collect him. Yesterday I was a few minutes late picking him up and was very grumpy.
